:: Alphaworld
Enhanced (v2.1.086)
A Visual Enhancement Mod for Active Worlds
| Alphaworld Enhanced
(AWE) is an award winning mod that utilizes the the
"local path" option within the Active Worlds settings.
What this basically does is override a part of Alphaworld's
object path with the mod. To see what is included within this
mod package, read the sections below. |
|

- A better travel experience
through Alphaworld. See the world in a whole new light.
- One-time install! AWE can
survive the sometimes-frequent Active Worlds program crashes.
- High resolution: View original
textures the way they were meant to be viewed.
- Additional content includes
a skybox, additional avatars and gestures plus much more.
- Easy to use setup files
allow you to install and remove AWE at your own choice with no
hassle.
- Award winning program! AWE
was nominated for and won a SAW Award in 2006 for Best Use of
Innovative Technology.

- 84+ commonly-seen textures
have been enhanced.*
- Increased
resolution by using original textures that AWI downsized,
or by tiling and re-adjusting textures.
- Made Seamless:
Unsightly pattern effects by certain textures have been fixed
and streamlined.
- Completely
replaced certain texture with a similar but more appealing
one such as the addition of brand new, life-like flames.

- Bonus Avatars: Over a dozen
bonus avatars available for use.
- Brand-new Gestures:
Sit gesture added to all avatars. Jump gesture,
when using the jump key, has also been activated.
- Additional Gestures: All
avatars have been given each-other's unique gesture on the Alphaworld
Object path. Each avatar now has over 20 unique gestures!

- Muting the "Teleport" and
"Warp" sounds is an option you may choose to
use, as they can get annoying at times.
- A Realistic skybox brings
a whole new feel to Alphaworld. Eliminate the "blue void"
and barren sky with this feature.
- Special Features: Objects
that once couldn't now accept picture and texture commands (such
as pot3.rwx). Certain tree objects have been made 'taggable',
allowing you to texture the leaves and trunk separately.
